“Crescents and Captures" is a collection of photographs that delves into the different aspects, traditions, and day-to-day activities during the holy month of Ramadan. Created in collaboration with The Arab Image Foundation, a Beirut-based organization dedicated to preserving photographic archives from the Middle East, my project blends the old with the new. Ramadan is a month of self-reflection and growth, alongside many gatherings, building strong connections, and of course amazing food. I captured a moment through each photograph, created a memory, and told a story. Each picture invites people to engage themselves in the emotions, sights, and sounds of Ramadan.
