Beirut was once called the "Paris of the Middle East" a hub of politically oriented creativity, vibrant culture and intellectual life. I wanted to tell a story using images from the past before all the tragedies that came after. Times of crisis or not, security or not, the people of Beirut keep going, doing what they do best: LIVE.
